Week 11: Highlights
1. Parent Teacher Conferences - Thank You
Walking through the hallways and seeing parents engaging with our ES Team was such a wonderful way to remind us of this important partnership and invite parents into the learning environment. We hope that you felt welcomed, heard, and that the connections and conversations were meaningfully. Throughout the first part of the year, we hope that you understand that teaching your children brings us joy and that you play an important role. Remember, if you have questions, need clarity, or have commendations, please do not be afraid to contact your child's teacher or any of our ES Team members. We are here to support you. Thanks for making the PTC days a success.

2. Learning in the ES continues
Each week, we highlight some of the transformative learning experiences we provide for our students. This week we give you a peek into the art classroom along with others. Enjoy!

3. ES Teachers Engage in Training for Writing
This week, our Curriculum Coordinator Dr Sarah arranged to have Rossie Apt, an international literacy consultant spend a week with our teachers to focus on writing. Our teachers were able to co-teach, demo lessons, receive feedback, and gain new tools to strengthen writing practices and instruction in their G1-5 classrooms. As part of our mission, Concordia makes it a priority to provide ongoing training and development for our teachers so that we can continue to provide a comprehensive and challenging learning experience for our students.

4. High School Musical - Final Days!
Bring your family and friends to a wonderful community event. This evening and tomorrow will be your final opportunities to enjoy the performance. We appreciate your gracious support for our students who are showing how we develop them holistically.
