High School Performing Arts: A Season Filled with Creativity, Energy, and Momentum
The High School Performing Arts program has been alive with excitement this semester as students in Drama, Band, Orchestra, Choir, and Musical Theater pour their hearts into their work. Every corner of the department shows evidence of students creating, rehearsing, performing, and shaping the artistic spirit of Concordia.

IIn Drama, students have been bringing new energy to campus with a series of lunchtime performances. From short scene work to radio plays, these showcases are giving our community a glimpse into the expressive skills students are developing in class. Their courage and creativity have created a buzz around campus and inspired others to explore the world of storytelling and performance. Auditions for APAC Theater are just around the corner and it’s looking like it will be the largest turnout for auditions in a while!

Our musicians have been equally active. Band students are preparing their Christmas Concert repertoire while looking ahead to the APAC Band Festival in March. Both APAC Orchestra and APAC Choir recently returned from their festivals with a strong and proud showing for Concordia. Their performances reflected the hours of dedication they have invested in their craft and the joy they bring to making music together.

The HS Musical Theater team presented The Wizard of Oz in the IB Gym which was carefully transformed into a temporary performance space. The production was a success filled with teamwork, resourcefulness, and impressive artistry from both students and staff.
Now the spotlight turns toward the December 3 Christmas Concerts at the U12 Theater. Our students are ready to close out the semester with celebration, passion, and an inspiring display of their talent.
